AP800 stalling was created by davidlee
Hello,

I have an AP800 that seems to have 20-30 second stalling fits.

It seems everything is fine for about 2 hours and then it will start to not allow me to connect to the internet for 20-30 seconds.

I am on my second unit now running firmware dratek put on there when replaced under warranty: 1.0.5RC3

While it was away for repair I used a BT Home Hub as a wireless AP (turning off DHCP, etc...) with the same SSID, channel and security settings and it was flawless.

I am very disappointed in the AP800, I was about to order 5 more but think I will hold off now.

Anyone else having trouble or is it just me?

Many thanks,

David Lee

Seems that when it stalls I can access LAN servers but not the LAN gateway which is a Vigor3300 and the internet.

It is like the Vigor3300 is blocking anything on the AP800.

The rest of the network is fine and the other access point I was using also works fine with the same network port and settings.

Identical issue for me. Think it's a fault with all AP800's because I have 4 of them and they ALL do this.

So only have trouble with the Vigor3300 or other routers too?
