Vigor 2820 wireless regulatory domain was created by seanparsons
Recently I've been having some issues with a wireless adapter in Linux connected to my Vigor 2820. Something I've discovered while diagnosing is that when connecting to the connecting to the wireless the 2820 seems to be giving my wireless adapter the hint that it's in Taiwan, which is clearly not right.

Following is a chunk of dmesg logs from my desktop:
Code:
[608138.452710] cfg80211: Calling CRDA for country: GB [608138.456850] cfg80211: Current regulatory domain intersected: [608138.456854] cfg80211: (start_freq - end_freq @ bandwidth), (max_antenna_gain, max_eirp) [608138.456857] cfg80211: (2402000 KHz - 2472000 KHz @ 40000 KHz), (N/A, 2000 mBm) [608138.456861] cfg80211: (5270000 KHz - 5330000 KHz @ 40000 KHz), (N/A, 1700 mBm) [607773.120058] wlan1: authenticate with 00:50:7f:6b:0b:b8 [607773.143218] wlan1: send auth to 00:50:7f:6b:0b:b8 (try 1/3) [607773.174346] wlan1: authenticated [607773.175558] wlan1: associate with 00:50:7f:6b:0b:b8 (try 1/3) [607773.184220] wlan1: RX AssocResp from 00:50:7f:6b:0b:b8 (capab=0x431 status=0 aid=4) [607773.184258] wlan1: associated [607773.184343] cfg80211: Calling CRDA for country: TW [607773.188736] cfg80211: Regulatory domain changed to country: TW [607773.188740] cfg80211: (start_freq - end_freq @ bandwidth), (max_antenna_gain, max_eirp) [607773.188742] cfg80211: (2402000 KHz - 2472000 KHz @ 40000 KHz), (300 mBi, 2700 mBm) [607773.188745] cfg80211: (5270000 KHz - 5330000 KHz @ 40000 KHz), (300 mBi, 1700 mBm) [607773.188747] cfg80211: (5735000 KHz - 5815000 KHz @ 40000 KHz), (300 mBi, 3000 mBm)

At the start you can see me explicitly setting it to GB using the iw command line tool, but then subsequent authentication to the wireless causes it to flip back to TW automatically.

Is there anyway to stop the router from doing this or am I lumbered with forcing my wireless to be configured incorrectly?

Unbelievable, there's no mention of that or anything like it in the readme files, so I just never bothered, that's at least fixed that issue, thanks!
