WIfi on 2820 in bridged mode ? was created by reetp
Pardon my stupidity :-)

I have a Draytek 3300V+ and a couple of 2820s - one with and one without wifi. I want to put the 2820s into bridge mode so the 3300V+ does all the heavy lifting.

Question is how can I access my LOCAL network using the wifi on the 2820 ? Or is it then impossible when in bridged mode (I guess it has no local IP and is on the wrong side of the 3300 WAN port) ?

Any suggestions appreciated.....

Couple of extra thoughts on this.

1. If I bridge the ADSL connection, can I run a VLAN on another port for the wifi so one LAN port is the bridge port and one is for the wifi ?

2. Can I use WAN2 for the wifi ?

3. Once in bridge mode, how do you get in to the router as I assume it no longer has a LAN IP address ??

Guess what I am saying is can I bridge the 'modem' via one port and connect the wifi using a (V)LAN port to connect to the rest of the LAN ?
