Hi,

I am trying to setup a WiFi for visitor that is separated from my private WiFi. The AP700 can apparently support multiple SSID, so I hope I can have it to serve my private secure WiFi as well as the Visitor WiFi. The AP700 is connected to Port2 on the 2850. I have done the following:

1. On the 2850: Enabled VLAN and have a VLAN1 set on LAN2 with VID 11. P2 is also enabled on VLAN0 because I need access to my own network.
2. On the AP700, created a new Visitor SSID with VLAN Tag ID #11, no security.

The 2850 is setup to give IP addresses to everyone. If I connect with the secure SSID, I do connect to LAN1 and get a 192.168.1.x kind of address given by the 2850.
But with I connect to the Visitor SSID, I never get an IP address... What am I doing wrong?

I can connect a PC in P3 on the 2850, and make sure that in the VLAN configuration P3 is associated to LAN2 as well, and it gets a LAN2 IP, so DHCP is working if no VLAN Tag are involved. Is there a rule saying you cannot use VLAN Tag ID and DHCP?

Thanks

JM
