A friends IPHONE 3S (MC637B/A) wont connect to either of the 2 SSID's on my 2830VN+. Have checked passwords ...all correct, have changed password still wont connect; have reset network settings on on the iphone...still no joy.

However friend's IPAD connects without problem, so am wondering if is some issue related to the older iphone models as I think another visitor had similar problem....

We have several other iphones 4/4s/5 all connecting with out problems....

any ideas/workarounds or is the iphone 3 a non runner.... ;)

change the wireless settings to b+g and see if connects (Wireless LAN >> General Setup) ... if works will slow down the other devices with this mode
it also may need latest update the iphone 3s?
an other option is to try at Wireless LAN >> WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup) to disable WPS
Wireless LAN >> Advanced Setting change the long or sort preamble & Aggregation MSDU

Sorted, i had set to be N only, changed to mixed b+g+n and hey presto the old iphone3 connects....
