Wireless channel reverting to auto was created by vlad06
Hey,

I have a router that is within range of many other wireless networks, all of which operate on channels 1,6 & 11.

Many people experience wireless connectivity issues and drop outs on my network so I suspected it to be a case of interference so I therefore put the Draytek on Channel 13 and it seems to have fixed the issues nicely.

However, it keeps placing itself back into auto and it isn't being done by any administrator, why does it do this? Is it a bug?

I need it to stay on 13 and not get back into auto select.

If you can help I appreciate it.

Thanks

-Did you press the ok button at the end of the page? after the change?
-If yes and still issue after the change & ok applied give a manual reboot
-Try with another browser
-If you have unit out of the Europe region may not allow you because Europe using up to 13 but if is been bought from another region may not allow you? possible something with the devices ... but i am not sure on this

-Another reason i can think is the mode ... try change the mode, example b+g+n or just n or if you have connected older devices try b+g
so try
Change Wireless Network Mode to G:
Change the channel
Change Wireless Network Mode back to Mixed or what you had before
