2820n as wap and port forwarding was created by jellybabies67
Hi Everyone

I have a ubiquiti edgerouter and Im now using my old 2820n as a wap via cat5e cable plugged into one of the fastethernet ports

(My current set up is edgerouter - mikrotik switch - draytek 2820n)

I have given the draytek a static address and turned off dhcp.

Everything works as it should except that i cannot remotely access/manage the 2820n even after setting up port forwarding on the edgerouter

I am trying to remotely access both the 2820n webserver via port 81 and the ftp server via port 21

On the draytek i have setup user defined port 81 for http and left ftp on port 21 and Im port forwarding both on the edgerouter.

The strange thing is with the edgerouters Nat hairpin/loopback turned on i can access the 2820 from within lan via external ip

But unable to access from a remote location

Thanx in advance

Joe
