Dear all,

As a newbi to wireless networking, I was looking at trying to extend the reach of the wireless using a couple of Vigor routers (2860n-plus and 2860ln) primary router is the 2860ln and I want to use the 2860n-plus as an access point. followed the the instructions as given by draytek and this appears to work ok for LAN1 and SSID1 however in my case I want to extend SSID2 on LAN2, I thought it would just be a case of mapping the peer mac addresses for SSID2 and ensuring the security pre shared key etc was OK however when I check the link status between the WDS peers, the link is always down for the mac address for SSID2. Reason I'm trying to achieve this is SSID2 is the guest network and routed over WAN1 (DSL) while my primary SSID1 used the LTE connection on the 2860ln, Have I missed the point completely here or am I heading in the right direction (other than using an expensive router as an AP).

Any advice welcome.
