Weird the 910C don'y bechave the same.
Also I have the non DFS channels selected in the exclusion list so as not to use them. But they still get selected.

I dont use auto deployment or push configs from my 2860.

That behaviour doesn't sound correct, it might be worth reporting that to the support team with syslog output from the AP when that occurs, which should give some indication of why it's doing that.
