Wi-Fi 6 Support was created by simmondp

Vendors that have already rolled out Wi-Fi 6 gear include Arista, Cisco, HPE's Aruba, Ruckus, Huawei, Netgear, Aerohive and TP-Link.

Many of those are upgrades to existing AP's

Come on Draytek, lets have;

  • A roadmap for Wi-Fi 6
    A pledge to upgrade existing on-sale products to Wi-Fi 6

There are products in planning but no release schedule currently so I guess not imminent.

I also, would like to know when Draytek expect to begin offering WiFi 6 devices. Just a non binding planning date would be nice.

My current 2860 has broken, I have gone back to using the ISP supplied router for the time being. I will not be buying a new router that is not WiFi 6.

I can't see how existing products could be upgraded to WiFi-6 so I doubt that is going to happen.

6ghz :lol: I wouldn't mind a working 5ghz router. Anyone need a £450 closet warmer?
