Hi all,
I'm looking for some help please.
I have a Vigor 2860Vn+ as the DHCP server, and main "outgoing" connection point in my network.
I also have 8 AP900's dotted around to spread the wifi signals around the property.
Across these I am running 3 SSID's, "private", "gaming" & "guest", on both 2.4 & 5 GHz bands, SSID's and passwords etc are identical.
Now the 2860 can see all the AP's and I can add them all as "friendly", however some point later in time, it has forgotten many of them and shows them as "unknown", which is annoying.
The issue is not with connectivity which seems to work fine and the network seems to function as required, apart from it seems, every time I check a large number of the SSID's from the AP's are "unknown", even though they have previously been added to the "friendly" list of AP's.
All AP 900 units are running the latest firmware 1.2.5, the 2860 is running 3.8.9.5, so the last version, not the current one.
Any suggestions please why the AP's are being "forgotten" and how I can stop this?
Thanks,
