I am using the above kit to provide a simple 2.4G and 5G small office network. The AP's are connected to the router via wired LAN, individual port per AP. AP's and router are in different rooms and elevations in the building.
I get good coverage with around 60Mhz speed (depending on the device) on 2.4G, however for some reason the speed drops right off to kHz levels or drops out completely only on the 2.4G WLAN at any location, that is whilst not moving around. The 5G speed remains high around 120Mhz on the same mobile devices in the same locations. The wired LAN connections remain high (300MHz) so not the feed.
Resetting the router does restore normal operation for a short while and the point at which things go bad seems to be fairly random.
I'm far from expert on these systems so the installation is strictly by the manuals with as many default settings as possible.
Any ideas on how to test or fault find would be appreciated. Thanks.
