Hi :)

We have a mesh network which is located across our premises, this is on a Vigor 2927 router with Vigor AP1000C access points.

I have been trying to get a seperate SSID setup (Employees) which will obtain a different subnet and ip address so that the employees technically arent on the company network. To do this I have setup a Vlan with no Vlan ID for Mesh (LAN0) traffic and VLAN ID 10 for SSID Employees (Lan1).

When I connect to Mesh, I get an IP Address straight away, no problems, but when I connect to Employees no IP address is being obtained - even though DHCP is turned on.

If I change the VLAN to 0 on employees then you get an ip address straight away so cannot figure out what is wrong. Have followed the link https://www.draytek.co.uk/support/guides/kb-wireless-guestnetwork-ap as this is exactly what I want to do....can anyone help?

Thanks, Tom.

Presumably you have ticked "Bridge VLAN to Mesh" on both the 2927 and the 1000C ?
