2866Lac with a 910C AP Issue was created by abilas
Hello All

Is it me or is Draytek churning out some crap hardware just recently...

Installed Draytek 2866Lac as requiring 4G failover, client had an existing 910C AP as this was working perfectly fine with the previous Vigor 2862ac. The issue is I can connect to the 910C AP, get an IP and ping the AP but that’s it, I can’t get any traffic to pass through from the 910C to the 2866. Can’t ping the router, server or any other devices on the network. Isolated this issue to the 2866, install old 2862ac and it works fine, suspect some incompatibility between the 2866 and 910 AP. Frustrating as hell as been on this most of the day. Anyone else come across Draytek APs not working with the new 2865/2866 routers?

No difference in config, VLAN was on the 2862 - removed VLAN to see if that helped. Still no joy.

@abilas I have a very similar issue with a 2866ac and an AP802, the 2866 is an upgrade from a 2762ac used at home. Config copied exactly from one router to another devices connect to the AP802 but no internet connectivity so mobiles fall back to 4G. If they are associated with the 2866 then they work as normal. Very annoying as swapping the 2762ac back in fixes all the issues, not what I'd expect from Draytek equipment!
