Complete with very strange amendment...

Draytek wrote: Improved: Add a note and a pop-up alert to notify the user not to enable Management VLAN when using the Mesh function.

When I was using Mesh, I definitely had the Management VLAN enabled (and working). It wouldn't have occurred to me to not enable it - given the presence of 3 tagged VLANs ...

Maybe the UK Web Site has been abandoned  :?:

If I downgrade all the way to 1.4.1, the GUI upgrade procedure still sees 1.4.4 (in Taiwan).

1.4.3 had a bug with the login page that was bad enough that it was skipped. 1.4.4 is coming soon on the UK site :)

In the meantime, you can use the 1.4.4 firmware from the international site just fine, it just doesn't have the UK release notes yet or the UK testing that's done. It's only for the DSL routers where the origin of the firmware particularly matters.

After only 2½ months the two web sites are now in line

But it was well worth the wait ...
they translated the cryptic "Added master AP group ID and group key" into :-

Added master AP group ID and group key for use with AP-based AP management. This adds
the ‘Reset’ button to the [Central AP Management] > [General Setup] page, to allow the AP
to leave a management group.

So that makes it clear

It should have been obvious to anyone, that "Added master AP group ID and group key" was just another way of saying "Added a RESET button"...
