AP960 / 2862ac / mesh issues? was created by teegeetoo
Anyone have experience running AP960s in a mesh with a 2862ac?
I had two mesh nodes apparently working well with the 2862 as root for about 3 weeks and then it seemed to go badly wrong. Unclear what triggered the issues.
I am aware the AP960 is not on the 2862 supported list, but the 912 is, and it was suggested to me that the 960 was "improved" in every way...

Does anyone know if the 960 definitely has issues with the 2862 or vice versa?
Or experience that it definitely can work long term?

Anyone from Draytek like to comment on possibility of f/w update for either side to ensure/improve operation?

Thanks
TG

I had two 960c's and a 903 running as mesh nodes with a 2926ac as root for several months with no issues.

Now running 3 960c's in a mesh with one of them as root and a standalone 2927ax whilst waiting (hoping?) for Draytek to come up with the promised firmware to make the 2927ax mesh compatible. No issues as far as the 960c's are concerned.

I have a 2927 and 3x AP1000c and for the last 8months, my meshed network keeps collapsing.

I've updated to the newest firmware each time but to no avail.

I'm beginning to wonder if my mesh root ap1000c is failing. I might try swapping it out for one of the other units.

My mesh root is Poe powered on one of my P1092 switch ports, which is also running the latest firmware.
