VigorACS 2 is the latest version of DrayTek's Central Management System (CMS). It supports all current DrayTek routers and firewalls, providing System Integrators or system administration personnel a real-time integrated monitoring, configuration and management platform.
At a glance, you can see the status and activity of any DrayTek router anywhere on the Internet, as well as receive alerts if a device has gone offline or any other alarm conditions selected. VPN status and setup is also simplified within ACS with a simple drag-and-drop system between routers.
VigorACS allows mass firmware-upgrades of router estates or global configuration changes, easy access to any router's configuration and if you are setting up or managing VPN connections, VigorACS is particularly useful with its drag-and-drop VPN tunnel creation - just drag a link from one node to another on the ACS map and the VPN profiles on both devices can be automatically created. Real-time and periodic (daily/weekly/monthly) reports enable you to know traffic volumes and activity at all sites.
The VigorACS 2 Central Management System can manage and view the utilisation of VigorAP Wireless access points as well as DrayTek Vigor routers, to configure single VigorAP access points or all VigorAP's within a Network.
Any VigorAP connected to VigorACS, either connecting from behind a DrayTek Vigor router or from a site that does not have a DrayTek router installed, can be managed across the Internet using VigorACS.
VigorACS 2 can be accessed with any type of device that has an HTML5 capable web browser, simply log into VigorACS 2's management console and configure your networks.
Through VigorACS 2's management interface, you can manage CPEs and view network status from Phones, Tablets, PCs and Macs; the interface resizes to display information on screens large and small, whether in widescreen, portrait or landscape view.
Overview the status of all switches on a site or network, or view the status of a single switch.
The Dashboard displays detailed information on port & PoE power usage, with alerts and notifications if a port is unexpectedly offline.
With DrayTek VigorACS you can remotely configure and provision the operation of your DrayTek VigorSwitch from your computer, tablet or phone.
VigorACS 2 displays summary of important information in one place; the Dashboard view is available for both
Networks and Groups
and
CPEs (Routers, Wireless Access Points, Switches)
The Network Dashboard view displays details for a single network or a group of networks:
Network Overview |
An overview of each Network, showing CPEs that are Online or Offline, along with any unread Alarms |
Device Overview |
When viewing a single Network, this lists the CPEs in that network, showing CPE Models (i.e. Vigor 2860n), Up Time, Firmware Versions, Lan Clients and active VPN tunnels |
Active Clients | Displays a counter of currently connected Clients (Phones, PCs etc) with a graph displaying the number of clients connected over time (1 day, 7 days or 30 days) |
New Devices | When a new CPE connects to VigorACS, it is listed here so that it can be assigned to a Network and given a Name and Location |
Traffic | Displays total bandwidth usage for Networks and CPEs with a graph displaying the usage over time (1 day, 7 days or 30 days) |
Map Overview | View the locations of CPEs and Networks on a map and select a map pin to view details for that CPE / Network |
VigorACS Menus are arranged and collated so that anyone familiar with configuring DrayTek Vigor routers, can easily manage Vigor routers and VigorAP access points through VigorACS 2 as if managing locally.
When managing a Network, a group of Networks or individual CPEs, status and diagnostic information can be found in the Dashboard and Monitoring menus.
The Configuration menu contains settings for Networks and CPEs.
Network Configuration is used to configure multiple devices, with VPN management and AP Management.
Device (CPE) Configuration allows for configuration of all settings available through the CPE's web user interface.
The Statistics section in VigorACS 2 provides a detailed overview of wireless clients connected to your network of VigorAP access points:
VigorACS 2's Floor Plan can store images of floor plans and locations to record wireless access point locations. Simply drag and drop virtual APs or existing APs for the selected VigorACS network.
When the dimensions of the image are specificed, Floor Plan simulates wireless coverage of each wireless access point, to determine the best position for each VigorAP within that floor plan.
VigorACS 2's Monitoring records wireless clients and other devices that have connected in to your network, through routers and APs connected to VigorACS 2.
The Clients section of VigorACS 2 can record and create reports on:
VigorACS 2 manages VigorAPs through AP Profiles, which can be provisioned to single access points or multiple VigorAPs at once.
Simply copy an AP profile from one site, make any required modifications and provision access points the next site.
AP Profiles can configure every setting of a VigorAP access point:
VigorACS is available to DrayTek dealers or Enterprise customers with larger estates of DrayTek routers. The VigorACS 2 software is provided either as an annual subscription to run on your own hardware or as a hosted service (SaaS / Cloud), which is ideal for smaller estates of routers or where you can't run your own server hardware. Upgrades to the software, including the latest features or improvements are included within the subscription.
For the self-hosted version, the minimum licence is for 10 nodes (CPE/routers). The 'price per node' decreases according to the number of nodes licensed. A DrayTek dealer can host multiple customers on the same ACS-SI server, and charge the customer for each node, as long as you have enough nodes to cover all devices; there is no minimum number of nodes for each customer account (e.g. with a 50 node ACS-SI licence, you could have 50 customers with one node each). Each customer's account is completely separated so that each can access the server within their own isolated account, or the dealer may provide all monitoring/management themselves without the customer (end user) needing to log in at all.
Instead of running your own server, DrayTek's ACS_SI server provides you a cloud-based solution. You can subscribe from 10 nodes upwards (each node costs just pennies per day). Min. Nodes and pricing subject to change. For further details of the cloud-based service, click here.
VigorACS 2 supports all current DrayTek router series including the Vigor 2760, 2762, 2830, 2832, 2860, 2862, 2925, 2926, 2952, 3220, VigorBX 2000, Vigor 2960, Vigor 3900, and 3910.
VigorAP Wireless Access Points from the VigorAP 710, 802, 810, 900, 902, 903, 910C.
VigorSwitches from the VigorSwitch P1280, P2280, G1280, G2280 (Requires 2.3.0 firmware or later)
