Thanks, I know about option 61 and 60. I have the system working on a openreach's modem.

All I want to know is am I using the correct tftp firmware flash app and why it won't work on one of my modems, unless I am missing another way of resetting a username/password, flashing the firmware is the only way of resetting the details.
