Actually it's not really admin! Caller ID for POTS has been available for quite some decades so the technology isn't the issue as telephone equipment can display CLID information quite easily! The problem lies with the modems not being setup to British Telecom hardware & driver standards! Also given the fact that POTS is analog technology, Digital Signal Processing would not be of any use and Analog Signal Processing would be more suitable!

I don't suppose there is any chance this will be sorted soon?

Alternatively, is CLID properly supported on the 2830?

Thanks,
Jon

Is there any news on this yet?

Seems to me that display of CID on analogue lines has been around for a very long time so there's no excuse for it to not work.

Has it been implemented yet?

If not, will it? When?
