I just tried upgrading my 2860Vac to 3.8.9.1_BT and found that it wasn't logging on to the SIP server (A&A).
As it's our main phone I downgraded back to 3.8.8_BT rather than dig too much, and that logged immediately into the SIP server.

Has anyone else tried that upgrade and had issues? Or conversely upgraded and had no issues (in which case I'll try again).

It's unlikely to make a difference, but the WAN is actually via WAN2 PPPoE via a 130 at the moment as the 2860 wasn't syncing on the line for some reason.

I think you mean 3.8.1.9 rather than 3.8.9.1? Yes, I have that exact same problem - upgraded to 3.8.1.9 and SIP trunk stops working. I am just about to try downgrading to 3.8.1.8 to see if that fixes it.

Yes, can confirm that 3.8.1.8 works fine but 3.8.1.9 does not.

He's using a Vigor 2860Vac for which the current firmware version is 3.8.9.1

You're right, of course. A coincidence that the numbers of the faulty firmware are the same just in a different order!

Mine is a BX2000 and, as you say, his is a 2860Vac.

I've got the same problem with a new 2862Vac, I can't get the router to register with the A&A SIP server.
I've tried firmware versions 3.8.6.2_BT and 3.9.0_BT.

Glad it's not just me. Thought I was being stupid.
Not so glad it's not working though.
