as stated, you can only do it via a secondary connection which is on the same subnet as the modem private ip. you cannot do it via the wan.

2820 = 3.3.2_RC5
2950 = 3.2.4

hiya louis I've tried plugging into the vigor directly on the 192.168.1.x subnet, and 2. I can't see the device. I seem to remember seeing that when in bridging mode only one port of the vigor can be used. Mebe I have to disconnect the wan link to the linksys..

i can see the web interface on all of my 100's when in bridging mode with the method described.
the 100's are on a different subnet to the lan of the 2950 they are connected to.
so i have 2 x 100's going into the 2 x wan ports of a 2950 and 2 x cat5 from each 100 going into a vlan'd switch.

2820 = 3.3.2_RC5
2950 = 3.2.4
