I am trying to get Annex M working and I cannot find any settings for it.

I am probably missing something obvious.

The website http://www.draytek.co.uk/products/vigor2820.html says it supports Annex M and has dialup failover as well as support for USB drives.

I have gone over this again and again and cannot find this functionality.

I have the latest firmware : 3.3.1.2_232201 dated 12 May 2009.

Hopefully there is a new firmware I cannot find it, I have had this router now for about 6 weeks.

It is a modulation setting in the PPPoA setup page. It's the second last entry in the drop down box.

WAN > Internet Access > WAN1 > PPPoA

You also need to make sure that Annexe M is enabled by your ISP or it won't work.

I had a probelm with Pipex - Annex M worked fine once they turned off "Interleaving" on the profile

ah ha,

I have set it up and the Draytek is reporting G.992.5 annexM but the upstream has gone down to 1300 and the downstream has gone down from 5700 to 4800.

My ISP shows I am connected at Annex A and interleaving is on. I'll try turning it off and turning Annex M again, the last two times it reverted to Annex A.
