Thanks for your help DTVGROUP.
Just one word of warning, make sure you only put the DNS entries in on WAN2 the second ethernet interface. We accidently put them in and WAN1 and cut all internet access off completely!

interesting o2 gave me the 208.67.220.220 as my dns? which are the same as the ones on open dns's site, after calling again they suggested trying 87.194.255.155

so do i just put the entries DNS Server IP Address on wan2 as 208.67.220.220 and leave the DNS Server IP Address for wan 1 as the 87.194.255.155 or do i leave wan1 dns blank?

many thanks mike..

Hi Mike,

I put the open DNS entries in wan1 and they automatically showed up in WAN2's config after a reboot - Cheers, Rob...

open dns = Primary 208.67.222.222 and Secondary= 208.67.220.220 - these are working in my config at the moment with no errors. I have yet to place the router back into the system where i want it to be, boss wont like things if they dont work 1st time now so doing more testing.......

Damar, i think as long as you have registred both IPs you should be fine, as I said to Mike I just put the DNS entries into wan1 and they are in wan2 automatically - which may point to the error that we are having inthe first place that you can only have 1 set of DNS entries in the draytek for 2 different wans.... :?

your right if you enter the dns into wan1 wan2 uses the same settings, however this made no difference for me, i have emailed draytek support and asked them for the exact procedure, as my system will not run with dual wan on loadbalance with O2 on both connections, regardless of which dns I use, ive tried 208.67.220.200, 208.67.222.222,87.194.255.155,87.194.255.154.

any other suggestions?

many thanks mike..

have you logged both IP's of the WAN's and the subnets that the IP's may jump to if its a DHCP ip address with open dns? (something i didnt do at first 8) ) - btw you have to log both addresses with open DNS ie create an account with them and go through the motions etc or they won't allow you to use the addresses that they have given for DNS.
