What's the reason for this non-functioning interet led?
'It's a bug' covers a multitude of computer sins.
More importantly, can/can't it be made to work ?

You'll have to ask DrayTek if you want the details. As far as I am aware, however, it is simply that the LED does not light when there is an ADSL connection. There appears to be no functional issues.
