Anyone got a similar setup or seen a similar issue on 3.3.4?

DHCP scope starts at x.x.x.10 on LAN

IP bound to MAC for x.x.x.10

DHCP fails for x.x.x.10 client unless DHCP scope is set to start x.x.x.9

3.3.3 works fine.

I have exactly that setup with 3.3.4 the NAS BOX is on xx.xx.xx.10 and DHCP starts at xx.xx.xx.10. It seems to be working, though I must admit that I have had some problems getting my new laptop to see the NAS box, its a bit erratic. I changed to 3.3.4 at the same time as I got the new laptop, my initial thinking was it was the laptop but now I am not so sure!
What symptoms are you seeing i.e. no entry in the DHCP table?

Yes, it just didnt want to give the IP out as it normally does. Tried disabling the client NIC etc but nothing going on. Didnt think to try Wireshark at the time though which might have helped shed some light.

I just flicked the client WLAN card on and used that for a while, then changed the DHCP scope on the Draytek and pretty much instantly got the x.x.x.10 address on the wired LAN card.

Was it that the DHCP table showed the IP but the card was not actually recieving it?

Cant be 100% certain but think it was in the list with "FIXED IP" next to it, so you might be right.

Well its done it again, the IP wasnt in the DHCP list though. Strangely the computer name was listed next to two unrelated/unused IPs.

I had to reboot the router for something else and it fixed it.

Seems like a DHCP bug in there somewhere though. Will have to go back to 3.3.3 if I cant figure it out soon!
