2820 default route setup was created by talbengal
Model Name : Vigor2820 series
Firmware Version : 3.1.1
Build Date/Time : Nov 8 2007 11:10:43
ADSL Firmware Version : 211801_A Annex A
WAN1 connect to Zen ADSL with 5 static public IP (up speed 448000)
WAN2 connect to Virgin media DSL Cable modem (20gb)
The Route table always show the default route to be to the ADSL (WAN1):
* 0.0.0.0/ 0.0.0.0 via x.x.x.25, WAN1
C~ 10.0.3.0/ 255.255.255.0 is directly connected, LAN
S x.x.x.142/ 255.255.255.255 via x.x.x.142, WAN1
C x.x.x.136/ 255.255.255.248 is directly connected, LAN
* x.x.x.25/ 255.255.255.255 x.x.x.25, WAN1
C x.x.116.0/ 255.255.252.0 is directly connected, WAN2
How can I make the default route to go to WAN2 (the DSL Cable)?
Like this:
* 0.0.0.0/ 0.0.0.0 via x.x.116.0, WAN2
C~ 10.0.3.0/ 255.255.255.0 is directly connected, LAN
S x.x.x.142/ 255.255.255.255 via x.x.x.142, WAN1
C x.x.x.136/ 255.255.255.248 is directly connected, LAN
* x.x.x.25/ 255.255.255.255 x.x.x.25, WAN1
C x.x.116.0/ 255.255.252.0 is directly connected, WAN2
When I try to use the static route on the LEN configuration it not allow it.
When I try to do it via Telnet (ip route add ...) it allow it only if I do 'ip route del' first and then when i add the route to the DSL Cable, no one on x.x.x.136/ 255.255.255.248 can go on the web and also the connection for the rest is very slow like it still using the ADSL line.
Please help!

Rather than trying to directly change the routing table shouldn't you do that within Load Balancing rules.
All Traffic via WAN2 (using WAN1 as a failover)
All Traffic via WAN2 (using WAN1 as a failover)

No WAN1 should be up all the time for the 5 static public IP on the ADSL.
So no it can not be fail over, both have to be connected.
I try with load balncing to saperate the LAN user to go via the Cable DSL and the 5 public IP to go via the ADSL, the problem is that it dose not allow me to set all other to 0% always leave other as 1% and becuse the defual router is WAN1 (ADSL) all user going out on WAN 1 as 'other' and that is whay it is so slow for them.

So what are you actually trying to achieve by altering the routing table?
5 machines all with external static IP's (from ADSL1 on WAN1) to use WAN1 and all other machines on the network to use WAN2?

Your router has practically the oldest firmware, that probably isn't helping things, I recommend going up to 3.3.3 at least.
To set it up so that you can have WAN1 connected and putting those public IPs through but the network uses WAN2 for internet access, you need to set a load balance rule from the WAN - Load Balance Policy page, on there, select a rule, enable it, set it to Any and select WAN2 then click OK on that page. So from then onwards, any connections made from the router side will go through WAN2 which is what I think you're trying to do.

Ok, firs of all my Firmware Version: 211801_A Annex A
ADSL Firmware Version: 3.1.1
I try every one on the FTP (for 8020) from 3.2.0 to 3.3.5 and to all of them the router say:
"Frimware file in invalid, please check"
There is NO v2820_211801_A.all
I found one in 3.3.4
v2820_v334_211801_A.all but I am getting the same error.
Next -
I try this:
WAN >> Load-Balance Policy
Index: 1
Enable
Protocol: any
Binding WAN Interface: WAN2
Src IP Start: 192.168.1.2
Src IP End : 192.168.1.254
Dest IP Start
Dest IP End
Dest Port Start
Dest Port End
And
Index: 2
Enable
Protocol: any
Binding WAN Interface: WAN1
Src IP Start: 217.x.x.136
Src IP End : 217.x.x.142
Dest IP Start
Dest IP End
Dest Port Start
Dest Port End
It did NOT work - none of the users on both network could go on the WEB.
i think the problem is that 3 of the PC's have 2 network interface one external and one internal.
trying to achieve this:
All 5 external IP to go out via ADSL1 on WAN1
All the rest to go on WAN2
.
I did configure second network as 217.x.x.136 255.255.255.248.
