2920n Remote Management from Internet was created by davidthornton
Has anyone managed to get remote managament from the Internet working with a 2920n? I've installed the latest firmware version but no amount of trying has got this working. Even if I uncheck "disable pings from the Internet", I am still not getting ICMP replies. I've added my static IP to an access list but I am still only able to manage the router using remote access software via a PC that is local to it.

I'm currently working with Draytek support directly, via email, after raising a ticket about this issue (as well as other speed related issues relating to my 3300V).
I've managed to get remote admin working with WAN1, which uses DHCP to a Virgin Media Super Hub for Cable (after forwarding the port I wanted to use for remote admin through the Super Hub), but not with WAN2, which uses PPoE to connect to a Vigor 100 for ADSL.

Ok I am in a similar situation as with your WAN2
My case:
ADSL - Vigor 120 - WAN1 2920n
120 - PPPoA PPPoE bridge - ie default settings - untouched.
Appreciate any feedback.

I've still not managed to do remote management from the Internet via WAN2 on the 2920n. The last thing I heard from the support technician at Draytek UK was that he was going to test it with his. Not heard anything back so should probably send him an email to find out.
