Had a reply back from Draytek support today. The person I have been corresponding with informed me that he has tested a 2920 with Vigor 100 and used PPPoE BT connection on WAN2. He says he was able to establish a connection many times (I assume an incoming management connecton because that is what my message was in relation to). WAN1 was enabled on the router but not connected to the Internet. I'm going to do some more testing and continue corresponding with him about this.
Have you any more experiences to share about this?

Afraid I had given up with it until now, so no nothing new to report. If Draytek are saying that there is nothing wrong with the firmware and it should work I may (if I find the time) have another bash.
I will report anything I find.

Thanks. I've been back in touch and received a response. Are you running firmware 3.3.6 and are you configuring anything special for the remote management (e.g. https only and a custom port)?

Same here. Maybe we'll get somewhere with this.
