Actually that's a good point. It's most likely a different thing altogether but the cap on the firewall may have increased accordingly as well. Only way to tell for sure is to test it or look through all the release notes.

It would really be a great bonus if the firewall was now capable of 100MBs downstream, since I could put off for a little bit longer an upgrade. If I was to be honest, that alone would be worth the risk of upgrading the firmware.

I'd bite the bullet and just do it. You're way behind on firmware upgrades which you've paid Draytek for so you might as well use them! As long as you have a backup of your settings and a copy of your current firmware you're quite safe :mrgreen:. It's anyone's guess what kind of performance you'll get after you upgrade but it's almost guranteed to be better rather than worse.

Let us know how it goes. Also, go get version 3.3.7.1 from ftp.draytek.com as the UK site has 3.3.7.
