Out of the many versions on the corporate website, which one is suitable for the 2850n on BT Infinity 80/20?

ive found A8 to be good, least amount of errorsthe number is 244001, its got a good attenuation for adsl 2+ also, before i changed firmware my attenuatiuon was 34, now its 28/29 with this, but to be honest, i think all teh firmwares are using the same vdsl, they all have the same version number when using vdsl.Oh, can someone tell me how i find my attenuation in vdsl, is it electrial length?.

i have tried the 244 and 247 annex A and it give 5db attenuation less for me as well (using now 230something UK SEG, 29db as TT d-link) then with 247something and 244.. showing 24db....
but is this a bug or flash reading?or really synchronise better? i have not seen any difference really over adsl with 244... 247...or UK SEG
my original TT d-link will show line attenuator 29db
the electric length i read somewhere long time is the same as line attenuator for adsl but dont know how they calculate it

Members that wont synchronise good with BT infinity have you tried annex B firmware???with the 2850n
the reason i suggest this ...is because i have seen a hacked HG612 and has on, annex B
also i have seen report from 2 billion 8200 users switching their mode to annex B got better upload
