mentioned cable before:wink: i always using network cable cat 6 straight (crossover is fine too)
Well i was keep going on with this thread because the 2850 can NOT go so wrong by just routing
I heard problem with the adsl and vdsl modem but just routing very strange
Use now 3.6.2 STD firmware is very good for VM and DONE
dont' forget set MTU over 1400 (1500 recommenced by VM)
if you lowered it will work but is like an empty car that if is big wind will push it off road easy

Hello, I'm pleased all is operational again, but it may be worth checking to see if there is a firmware upgrade available for your HP switch.
