V2820 Control Panel not accessible was created by dbk
I've started getting problems accessing the web interface on my 2820.
When trying to log on I get 'IE cannot display the web page'. When I try to diagnose I get 'the reote device won't accept the connection - detected'.
I've tried to log on via Firefox and Chrome and still cannot access.
When I reboot the router I get access again - but then after a few days access is again blocked.
Any help much appreciated.

try:
power cycle the pc and the 2820
update the latest firmware
at your pc with command prompt type 'ipconfig /release' then enter to clear any other previous addresses

This is a problem I've been having since upgrading the firmware. The syslog isn't indicating any sort of DOS attack that might be closing down the control panel access.
Otherwise everything else seems to be working, resetting the router gives a day or two of access, then zilch. I'm wondering if this might be some firmware related issue.

We've got this same thing on a 2850 and now a 3200 - anyone having this anywhere else? Is it specific to one firmware release.
FWIW, we disable all management access except HTTPS, and limit admin access from the outside to a specific range belonging to us.
Thanks
Matthew

once i am with a new laptop & W 8 it seems sometimes it will not load the 192.168.1.1 page atol ... few refreshes or reload the page or close the window & reopen is working OK again ... not sure if is related but may it helps (chrome in use with 2830n) ... also at IE can try compatibility mode with on or off
