They have determined that the backup/restore problem is relevant to me using a Mac with Safari. If I switch to Chrome the backups are fine.

Have you tried the latest version. I haven't yet but supposed to fix the port redirection issue

I was kinda hoping to just use the the router rather than sign up to their beta testing program.

I've not had the time to try anything else yet.

Can confirm that in the latest firmware the fix doesn't work I wonder if they really tested it. Anyway back to version 1.0.9.1
