My 2925ac is randomly rebooting as well. It can go for 24 hrs without a reboot then might reboot 3 or 4 times the next day. I'm suspecting it's something to do with wireless?

I've done a full factory reset and re-applied the firmware v3.8.0.1 via bootp method but it still randomly reboots.

Has anyone tried rolling back to v3.8.0 (ftp://ftp.draytek.com/Vigor2925/Firmware/v3.8.0/)? I have a sneaking feeling the random reboots were introduced with v3.8.0.1.

Suggest you raise a support ticket with DrayTek and quote my current ticket number [#DQ540217], so as to give more "evidence" that there are issues.

Be prepared to run syslog, and make sure you tell them you have flashed it with the .rst firmware before they will even consider there is an issue. I've have suggested that maybe they will supply AP900c if they can't fix the issue :-)

I haven't rolled back the firmware version as I have too much of a config to want to reconfig (but I guess it could confirm it isn't a hardware issue - I've not had my unit that long).

mbames, I've just checked my fathers 2925n+ and it's randomly rebooting as well. It was rock solid stable running v3.8.0. I'm travelling at the moment and prefer to do a rollback when I'm physically next to the router. You will be able to roll back to v3.8.0 and restore your previous settings without any issues.

Support has come back with a brand new beta firmware for the 2925 to try.

Hi Gareth,

Would you mind trying the new beta firmware fixing this issue and to check whether the random reboot still reproduced?
Please refer to this link: http://www.i-lan.net.au/downloads/Vigor2925/Firmware/beta/Beta-Sep-2015/v2925_RC5b.zip
Thank you very much.

Regards,
Rudi
