Ok,

i do not have these option on the 2850. So flash or not flash... Problem is I do not see may IPv6 related changes in the release note.

Just regarding DNS servers, IPv4 DNS servers can return IPv6 addresses (AAAA records) and vice versa, so unless you're planning to turn IPv4 off all together, you don't need them.

The two OpenDNS servers have IPv6 addresses:
208.67.222.222 = 2620:0:ccc::2
208.67.222.220 = 2620:0:ccd::2

Really, the option I am missing (compared to the 2860) with the 2850 running 3.6.6.1 are:
- The management drop down
- The option for Auto IPv6 Range. I can only setup my own range and no delegate to Zen.
- The DNS setting outside the DHCPv6 Server.

Question is: are these option available on the latest firmware for the 2850 or not?

Thanks for all the replies about this.

I tried it again using the PPP method and all the defaults and it now works. I had upgraded the firmware (now on 3.8.2.3_BT with DSL version: 572801_A HW: A) a while back, but I'll need to check the release notes again to see if there's anything relevant.

I can access all ipv6 sites from my windows 10, and can also ping ipv6.google.com:

Code:
Pinging ipv6.l.google.com [2a00:1450:4009:801::200e] with 32 bytes of data: Reply from 2a00:1450:4009:801::200e: time=73ms Reply from 2a00:1450:4009:801::200e: time=77ms Reply from 2a00:1450:4009:801::200e: time=42ms Reply from 2a00:1450:4009:801::200e: time=77ms Ping statistics for 2a00:1450:4009:801::200e: Packets: Sent = 4, Received = 4, Lost = 0 (0% loss), Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds: Minimum = 42ms, Maximum = 77ms, Average = 67ms

I do have a firewall rule to allow ICMPv6 in comming (sorry for the lack of a scren shot):

Direction: WAN -> LAN/DMZ/RT/VPN
Source IP: Any
Destinaion IP: Any
Source Type: Protocol 58
Fragments: Don't Care

I also have Firewall -> General Setup -> Block routing packet from WAN (checked for IPv6, not IPv4).

Hmm.. I don't get any ping replied from Google. It seems to resolve just fine (and numeric addresses don't reply either).
