The information on the DrayTek UK site is correct for the UK, in that Vector3 should be the correct modem code to use in the UK.

The 3.8.2.3 firmware will be posted on the DrayTek UK site once it has been tested for usage in the UK.

Sounds very much like left hand/right hand syndrome especially since the main site is saying V2 for UK for this particular version

All as clear as mud

Agreed, maybe Draytek UK people could tell Draytek HQ to revise their "release notes" pdf so that there is no doubt in anyones mind.

I was just about to pull the trigger on upgrading the firmware on my 2860ac...

In fact on draytek.co.uk the recommended file is (copied/pasted)

F/W 3.8.2.3BT / Recommended (576D17)

The modem code we recommend is BT 576D17

So do we have a final word on this for UK users?

Many thanks...

Still none the wiser at the moment what the difference the UK BT version is from vector3.

Maybe it's the magic SIN 498 version, however probably not, as this would surely be noted in the release notes.

It's not the same as the vector3 firmware though, the file is slightly larger and different checksums.

Will wait and see if there is any update regarding this, running the 3.8.2.3 v3 currently.

If you check the table in this thread you will see that the SIN498 certified firmware is indeed 576D17, so I believe this is certainly the SIN498 certified firmware.
