I've been using Vector 4 for 28 hours now. No disconnects yet.

9 days now on Vector 4 and just 1 disconnect.
It could be due to the dryer weather we're getting now, the OpenReach engineer said wet weather can get into the joints of a patched cable and cause disconnects.

Hi, I also had performance and speed issues with the 2860, frequently disconnects, and syncs at a slower speed than the plusnet router.

Did you get anywhere with this?

I put the alternate firmware on the 130s and it turned them into appliances - they never drop now. They go from month to month and the line speed is good (we are on an 80/20 service and get 79/18.)

Hi Guys - sorry to reply to an old thread but I'm going back to my 130 as my 2860 is pretty useless at holding onto a connection with plus.net VDSL. I see this thread and wanted to do for "vector 4" as it's worth a try on the 130 as you have. The lastest firmware on https://www.draytek.co.uk/support/downloads/vigor-130/category/257-vigor-130 is Vigor 130 3.8.3 BT or alternative code 579F17 3.8.3. I take it vector 4 is 579F17? What version of the fw are you on?

Thanks,
Si.

I am running the 579f17 code, but I am still on 3.8.2 on the basis that it works fine right now, and there is nothing in 3.8.3 to warrant upgrading. It ain't broke, so no point in fixing it till it is (broke)..
