We've just updated a 2862 to the latest fw (3.8.9.1) and now remote management doesn't work.
the settings are the same but the connection times out.
Any thoughts?

3.8.9.1 is borked and causes all kinds of issues, see the thread 2862 - 3.8.9.1_BT firmware upgrade breaks IPv6? in the Installation & Setup Issues forum

I had the issue in 3.8.9.1 and I still have it in 3.8.9.2 on my 2862.

I can access the web interface fine using HTTP or HTTPS internally.

Externally I only have HTTPS enabled. In Chrome I get nothing and eventually times out, in Safari half the login page loads. A couple of time it let me log in but the dashboard doesn't load fully and doesn't respond if you click on anything.

I have tried multiple PC's externally and done the usual such as clearing the browser cache.

There was an issue but I thouight it was fixed in latest firmware... I'd report to support.

Try it from a different remote location too though.

I have a 2862 with 3.8.9.2BT firmware and can manage it remotely via the WAN interface. I do have this locked down to a give IP range, but it works fine. So it can work in this config. Worth checking you don't have an incorrect firewall object applied that is locking you out.
