so I can confirm that the draytek is connected to the WiFI - if I go to diagnostics Ping I can ping the WIFI device from within the Draytek router, however connected devices to the Draytek still have no internet connectivity ? any thoughts ?

thanks in advance

As a first check - is the hotspot working correctly? e.g. if you connect a PC by wifi directly to the hotspot do you get full internet access then?

Bingo! - it was down to routing, I missed the default gateway IP address off the default route, added that in and away we go

thanks for all your help, wouldn't have got there without your input
