Although we didn't know you were on Sky, reading that Draytek guide :-

"The router connected to the modem needs to be set up for DHCP option 61 to receive an IP address from Sky."



The option 61 details still go into the router, not into the 130 as I read it :?:

The guide is correct but you need to read the section for modems, not routers.

DrayTek Vigor Modems

To use the DrayTek Vigor 130 modem with Sky Fibre Broadband, either with a DrayTek Vigor router or another manufacturer's router, set up the modem in Bridge mode. This allows the modem to pass-through the DHCP information to the router connected to it. The router connected to the modem needs to be set up for DHCP option 61 to receive an IP address from Sky.



You input the settings to your ASUS router.

Ah, ok so from my understanding I may need to go back into my modem settings and not go into the advanced section for the DHCP client option?

My original question regarding th web interface is now resolved, the static IP worked thank you.

Thanks for the help and patience, I'm a bit of a noob with all this and appreciate you guys taking the time to help me. Away to try and flash my router with Merlin, wish me luck 😟
