SkyQ used to give broadcast storms which affected WiFi devices mainly but also occasionally wired devices (not sure if this is still an issue), even when their own mesh wifi network was disabled. I ended up putting them on their own vlan in the end.

Just chiming in to say we've seen this too. When I last saw this (April 2021) the suggested work around was that if you have a Wired Ethernet Cable plugged into the Q Box then disabling WiFi on the Q Box should fix the problem (until Sky address the issue properly) - I did have a Sky forum link from that time but it appears they require sign-in now.
