2927ax poor performance with f/w 4.4.0 was created by craigski
Just upgraded a 2927ax with the recent 4.4.0 firmware from draytek.com, did multiple speedtests only getting ~500Mbs.
Noticed CPU maxed to 80-90% on Draytek dashboard.
Rolled back to 4.3.2, speedtests back to normal, 900Mbs, CPU running at 1% during speedtest.
Hardware acceleration was turned on for NAT, same config on both tests.
Issue with 4.4.0, maybe specific to ax model?
I'll stay with 4.3.2 for moment.

I'm running 2927Lac with v4.4.0 on gig virgin connection, still getting ~900mbps.

The ax vs ac is different hardware inside, as ax has limited features vs ac models.
Previously with 4.3.2 f/w there was two different versions, one for all models of 2927 except ax, and a specific 4.3.2 for ax:

I'm only seeing one version of 4.4.0 now, maybe a specific version ax will appear soon?

I saw this with the early beta 4.4.0 firmware for the 2927ax. I reported it at the time and unfortunately the issue shipped in the final bits.
In my case I only see the cpu spikes when connecting through the LAN ports (via my wired 960 APs or otherwise). If I connect directly to the router WiFi I dont have this issue. If I disable the router WiFi the CPU issue goes away i.e. the client connecting through my wired APs or on my wired LAN are able to access the internet at full speed.

Thanks. All tests I performed were using LAN connection with WiFi disabled on the ax.
I get ~900Mbs on 4.3.2, but only 500-600Mbs using 4.4.0 on the ax with WiFi disabled.
