The only time I've seen issues with the Bind to IP is if you use Bind to IP to reserve but also set a static IP address on the device to match the reservation - this combination tends to result in no internet connectivity (it's been a while since a tested / played with this.. it was on a Draytek 2860 or 2862 at the time if memory serves)
