Having gone back to 4.4.2 RC10 and the regular disconnects and my speed going down to 30mb/s, which isn't great... A week back on the beta firmware and the line is looking much better, so there must be something very wrong with the 4.4.2 RC10. It also crashed and rebooted sometimes when I went to look at DSL status... This is slowly getting back to normal!

Have you contacted your ISP to check if you have any faults on your line?

Also, there are other issues to consider, such as the filter that you use (you could try ADSLNation if connection rate is a big thing for you) or whether you have any dodgy wiring.

It's also generally acceptable that different routers - with different chipsets - will connect at different speeds and lots of factors come into play here.

There are no faults... With the beta firmware, thngs are starting to get back to normal now. I have about 50mb/s compared to it going from that down to about 30 when I replaced my 2860 for 2866!

As long as 4.4.2 is OK when it comes out, then I can hopefully draw a line under this debacle!
