Yep, first thing I made sure of. I'm going to replace the Draytek with a pfSense box. So far they've never let me down.

Have you tried a test with a vpn set and a simple password? It could be that the draytek is just not storing your current password properly due to certain characters in it (I'm assuming it is a strong password .
I've experienced this kind of thing before with other kit so worth a shot.

Hi elmes,
Yep, tried this too! I literally spent hours on this and tried everything I could think of. Going down a different line now and have a little project to get pfsense on a Watchguard Firebox so that should keep me busy!
