same problem, connection is very flaky, i cannot carry out any activity that requires a continuous session, e.g. remote desktop
as it will drop very frequently.

Draytek says the beta firmware is only for Plus models, i.e. the Dual band ones. Unfortunately I have the Single band 2830Vn model
and gonna have to wait this one out for a while.. hope they do something for the single band models.

sorry I stand corrected, Draytek has sent to be a beta firmware for Single band 2830.
It appears it was compiled the day I sent the support ticket, they really do respect our feedback.

Now running it to see if i can get a solid uptime!

I have the same issue with a brand new 2850

I also connect via my PC or Laptop to my office VPN using Shew IPSEC.
The connection works but as soon as I send files or use RDP / VNC / Dameware it drops.
I leave a constant ping running to a server and all is well until I send data. It then drops. If I bypass the Draytek and plug directly into the Virgin cable modem, it works without dropping.

I am waiting for George at Draytek to connet to my 2850...

Darren.
