Hi,
i found this article from Draytek regarding IKEv2 VPNs which would be very beneficial to connecting to systems like Azure for route based vpns.
https://www.draytek.com/en/faq/faq-vpn/vpn.lan-to-lan/vigor-router-to-vigor-router-ikev2/
however, it states the firmware it requires is 3.8.5.
I have looked at all the products and not one of them are above 3.8.4, is this a beta firmware only? if so how can you go about gaining access to beta firmwares?
Thanks guys
Cliffey

I just upgraded a pair of 2860acs to 3.8.5 and switched some IPSEC lan to lan VPNs between those and a central 2960 to IKEv2.
I found it very unstable. The tunnels were both bouncing up and down a lot with a lot of packet loss. Switching back to IKEv1 and they were 100% stable with no packet loss.
Tried to log a support ticket with Draytek - but the page is now timing out when submitting and losing the data each time.
Anyone from Draytek here like to comment on this instability?

Keep us posted on this one as I want to put a S2S VPN in to Azure but sounds like there are issues with this version.

Will do - it looks like my case did get logged despite the page timing out.
Incidentally I did try IKEv2 between a pair of 2960's on version 1.3.1 and found it stable, so this issue looks to be with the 2860 end not the 2960
