I’ve tried the steps in this guide: https://www.draytek.com/support/knowledge-base/4919 with no luck.

I did only configure the one tunnel, I don’t see the need for a failover.

The packets not being passed are IGMP (224.0.0.0/24).

I’m seeing 224.0.0.2 that has a description of ‘All routers on this subnet’. I’m not sure putting my two routers on the same subnet is worth trying, I expect this will kill the tunnel.

I’m going to try with xlink Kai, an application that encapsulates the packets and sends them across the net to see what arrives on the remote network.

I’ll then try the other link you added.

I've been doing some more reading up - but I'm not really much the wiser

(I've been using IPV4 since about 1988, without the need to understand 'multicasts' :? )

My main interest, is in getting DLNA to work, so I can access the Tuner in my Panasonic TV over the VPN from my 'holiday home'. (Thus avoiding an additional TV licence). It works a treat over the LAN and not at all over a VPN.

I think I only need to send a single message, advertising the location of the Server - so a Raspberry Pi at the remote end is looking favourite at the moment. (Or maybe an X-box :lol: )
