Have you tried a Google search?

Here is a guide (found using a Google search): https://draytek.co.uk/support/guides/kb-firmwarerecovery-ap

Thanks for this, but it’s for a 902 not an 802, the other complication I haves is being a Mac user…

This procedure is for all APs, so both 902 and 802.

Can you not borrow a Windows laptop or something?

Hi,

I have borrowed a Windows Machine and followed the instructions in the Draytek Guide, however to no avail, all that i ever get is the 2 flashing LEDS and now way of getting it into recovery mode :-(

its now just a pretty expensive piece of Socket furniture :-(
