CAT5e cable? Tried turning off router, rebooting modem waiting 2 minutes and turning router on?

Mine only shows half duplex, with no way of amending this.
Which modem did they give you?
I had my 50Mb installed 2 days ago and got the VMNG300 modem.
Same type, I think they only use 1 type for 50mb

Replied by johnlil on topic Great help but....
All of the above, VM modem set to 100duplex and 2820 tried with both auto, 100 duplex and 100 half.
Still only get about 10Mb to my Mac, wired via home plugs and about 15Mb to a Win 7 laptop over WiFi
Anyone else seen this?

are you sure that's not your problem right there?
Have you actually tested the throughput of your homeplugs? Don't rely on what they say they're giving you, actually test LAN>LAN file transfer.

Oh I feel like such a $%^&, router wasn't set to Auto Negotiate, modem auto corrected to 100mbps/Full duplex
I get on average 35mb-43mb download speed depending on where the server is located in the world.
